Host a Field Experience student — mentor tomorrow's workforce today

Every student deserves a real shot at discovering their future — not just the ones with family connections in the right industry. Field Experience pairs motivated BHS juniors and seniors with local professionals for real, supervised work — and it only works because businesses like yours say yes.

What Hosting Looks Like

  • Mentor a student exploring your field as a real career path
  • Share your day-to-day work, expertise, and career journey
  • Involve the student in meaningful tasks when appropriate
  • Help build the professional and employability skills students need for what's next
  • Strengthen the connection between your business and the Batavia community

What It's Not

No surprises
This is not unpaid labor and not a one-time observation visit. Students are prepared, coached, and placed with a BHS staff member supporting the partnership throughout — the goal is a meaningful experience for the student and for you.
